Medical Social Worker

(MSW)

Medical Social Workers (MSWs) help patients and their families cope with illnesses. Patients recovering from trauma or illness may feel unstable in their lives; it is the duty of our Medical Social Worker to provide support for these patients ensuring that the best interested of the patient are being met. They help patients understand their illness or condition and provide them with the resources and information they need to cope with the emotional, financial, and social needs that arise.
